Introduction

The Aerosol Opticla Depth (AOD) data are retrieved from GOME, SCIAMACHY and AATSR measurements. The retrieval is carried out by top of Atmosphere (TOA) reflectances in nadir-viewing conditions, using channels selected in the most transparent atmospheric windows. Aerosol classes have been selected among tropospheric aerosol types.
